The crew at Brick TeeVee are waiting for the Color-Coded Alert crawl! Pig and Hog Farmers are complaining about the name of this new virus and want it called by it's scientific name of H1N1. Not to be outdone, Israel wants to call it "Mexican Flu". Of course, some of the hog farmers are SPOOKED by the whole thing, namely SMITHFIELD FARMS. Al Giodano at NarcoNews.com begs to differ: "The so-called “swine flu” exploded because an environmental disaster simply moved (and with it, took jobs from US workers) to Mexico where environmental and worker safety laws, if they exist, are not enforced against powerful multinational corporations." The Brick TeeVee crew hasn't contracted Swine Flu or Wabbit Flu but seem to have some kind of Donkey Flu or Elephant Flu, as it seems any kind of "looking backward" into torture war crimes is "off the table". The cretins are crawling out of the woodwork to "defend" torture. Even Coni Rice now has used the "Nixon Defense" as reported by Jonathan Turley: "First, it shows Rice desperately trying to fall into Obama’s ever-increasing group of exempted people “just following orders.” Her role, however, was significant in establishing the torture program. She had an independent responsibility to refuse to participate in a war crime. Second, most war crimes involve officials who order them under the claim that they are perfectly legal. The Germans, Japanese, Serbians, and now the Bush Administration have made such claims." As Turley reminds us, Article II, Section 3 of the Convention Against Torture expressly states “An order from a superior officer or a public authority may not be invoked as a justification of torture.” If we keep pulling on this string hard enough the whole sweater just might unravel.

XM put this guy on this afternoon, and I though he was great. Not as good as Sam, but a hella of lot better than a rerun of Rachael. Mostly, he talking about Phelps and our stupid drug laws. He really wanted callers. Was easy to talk to. And never pulled a Randi. Anyway, I don't know anything about him, but so far I'm glad I'm hearing him.
