Sometimes it's hard to believe how much chutzpah the Poster Boy for the 1% can have, after getting bailed out by the American taxpayer when his company arguably helped crash the global economy and then got a world record fine for doing it and then got a raise to boot! YES cats and kittens, boys and girls and we in the 99% who deal with CEOs making 400x than we make and massive financial inequality (MoJo) but IT'S TRUE! Stephen Gandel at tells us Jamie Dimon calls regulation un-American, once again JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon still thinks the way banks are treated these days is un-American. On a conference call on Wednesday morning in which the bank reported that last year it had earned $22 billion, or roughly 240,000 times what’s in the average American’s retirement account, Jamie Dimon said that JPMorgan JPM was “under assault,” and questioned whether the increased scrutiny by regulators of banks since the financial crisis has gone too far. “In the old days, you dealt with one regulator. Now it’s five or six,” Dimon said, referring to instances when multiple regulators have sought to punish JPMorgan for the same issue. “You all should ask the question, how American that is.” .................. Dimon’s Wednesday comments came in response to a question about a new proposal from the Federal Reserve that would require JPMorgan, the biggest bank in America, to hold more capital in reserve to protect against losses, even compared to its other mega-bank rivals. The Fed has said the new proposal adjusts capital rules to account for the fact that risks at some banks are more complex than others, and maybe harder to detect. But Dimon effectively said the proposal shows that regulators still don’t get his bank. “It’s just because we’re big,” said Dimon. But regulators aren’t the only ones questioning JPMorgan’s size. Last week, rival Goldman Sachs released a report that said JPMorgan should be broken up. When asked by Fortune on Wednesday’s call whether he thought Goldman should be broken up, Dimon laughed and then offered, “No comment.” Like he has in the past, Dimon defended JPMorgan’s size. He said it makes the bank more diverse and safer, not the opposite. He also noted that many of the aspects of JPMorgan that have raised concern among regulators, like the bank’s $300 billion portfolio of so-called available for sale securities, make it safer, not riskier or more complex. “Our AFS portfolio adds to liquidity,” said Dimon. The bank’s size also seems to attract the attention of more regulators, something that Dimon thinks is unfair. But it has been a very long time since a big bank like JPMorgan would have had to deal with only one federal regulator, long before Dimon’s career began. According to bank historian John Gordan Steele, the Federal Reserve got its mandate to oversee the nation’s largest banks in 1913 (the same year that the actual J.P. Morgan died), making it the second federal regulator besides the Comptroller of the Currency. .............. Okay all you Fed Conspiracy Theorists! Whatcha gonna do? Call Ron Paul? Sue Jamie Dimon for getting you thrown out of your home? Call Matt Taibbi? Maybe your BEST BET is to TAKE OUT ALL YER MONEY from Chase Bank, JPMC and any 401K and other retirement investments you have that have JPMC in its portfolio for starters. The idea is to COLLAPSE JPMC from WITHIN, get it? If THEY don't have YER MONEY, then THEY can't bet with it! GET IT NOW?
114th CONGRESS UPDATE: It's only January and we can't even keep up! We're not gonna snip these so READ THESE IN FULL: NEXT some of the fallout from the Charlie Hebdo attacks last week with "A list by @DanielWickham93" These 'staunch defenders' of the free press are attending today's solidarity rally in Paris. Some excerpts:

  • 2) Prime Minister of Davutoglu of Turkey, which imprisons more journalists than any other country in the world
  • 3) Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, whose forced killed 7 journalists in Gaza last yr (second highest after Syria)
  • 4) Foreign Minister Shoukry of Egypt, which as well as AJ staff has detained journalist Shawkan for around 500 days
  • 10) The Attorney General of the US, where police in Ferguson have recently detained and assaulted WashPost reporters

Next we go the's Mark Tran Presence at Paris rally of leaders with poor free press records is condemned Press freedom campaigners condemned the presence of world leaders attending the unity rally in Paris on Sunday who have poor records on human rights and the free press in their home countries. Reporters Without Borders singled out leaders from Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Algeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as being responsible for particularly harsh environments for journalists. These countries rank respectively 159th, 154th, 148th, 121st and 118th out of 180 countries in terms of press freedom in a league table compiled by the group. “We should show solidarity with Charlie Hebdo without forgetting the world’s other ‘Charlies’,” said Christophe Deloire, secretary general of the campaign group. “It would be intolerable [if] representatives from countries that reduce their journalists to silence profit from this emotional outpouring to … improve their international image … We should not allow the predators of the press to spit on the graves of Charlie Hebdo.” .................... Nearly 70 journalists are being prosecuted in Turkey for referring to corruption allegations against close associates of the former prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is now the president. In Egypt 16 journalists, including three from al-Jazeera, are in jail. The al-Jazeera journalists have been held since December 2013 for “spreading false news” and “membership of a terrorist organisation”. The al-Jazeera journalists include Peter Greste, formerly of the BBC, who has lodged paperwork with the Egyptian government seeking his own deportation. But his release from prison could be weeks or months away, as the new presidential power to deport foreign prisoners is tested for the first time. A member of Greste’s Australian legal team said the jailed journalist’s application was “among the first” to petition the Egyptian president, Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, for deportation. Several Russian journalists have been imprisoned, often in Siberia, and two NGOs that support the media have been added to an official list of “foreign agents”, a term used to stigmatise bodies that receive foreign funding and are suspected of “political activity”. In December, 20 activists including Masha Alyokhina from Pussy Riot were arrested in Moscow, after staging an all-night protest against the conviction of Alexei Navalny, a critic of the Kremlin, and his brother Oleg. Algeria bans marches and public protests, prompting the Algérie-Focus website to say: “Marches and public protests are banned in Algeria, but Algerian ministers have the right to march in the streets of … Paris!” And while Obama, Merkel Vow to Improve Intelligence Cooperation (while totally forgetting how US Taps Chancellor Merkel's Mobile Phone) and France deploys 5,000 police officers to protect Jewish schools in Paris and the EU seeks new anti-terror measures after Paris attack The "new" Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) is being rebranded without the word "PROTECTION". At the InfoWorld Tech Watch desk Caroline Craig tells us how CISPA returns as CISA -- and it's just as terrible for privacy ............ You remember the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act: introduced in 2011 but failed to pass the Senate, then reintroduced in 2013 only to be beaten back a second time. This go-around, Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Saxby Chambliss (R.-Ga.) have stripped out the mention of "protection" and rechristened their draft bill the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act. CISA purports to "improve cybersecurity in the United States through enhanced sharing of information about cybersecurity threats, and for other purposes" (emphasis added). According to a press release from Feinstein's office, "the bill incentivizes the sharing of cybersecurity threat information between the private sector and the government and among private sector entities" by providing companies with immunity from liability. In other words, companies like Facebook, Google, and cellphone providers could share your information, so long as it's framed as a security threat -- and there's nothing you could do about it. Senators, unlike weatherman Phil in "Groundhog Day," seemingly learn nothing from past experience. CISA suffers from the same vague, overly broad language that opponents criticized in CISPA. The words InfoWorld's Robert X. Cringely used to describe CISPA apply equally to the draft CISA:
The problem with CISPA is that in its current form it's still vague and ripe for abuse. It absolves corporations of being responsible for what happens to the data they've collected. It allows data sharing with the entire federal government, not just the parts responsible for ensuring our safety. It circumvents other laws designed to limit governmental access to private information. And it can be deployed for a wide range of perceived threats that have nothing to do with attacks on our nation's infrastructure. In that it is very much like the Patriot Act, which was allegedly written to combat terrorists but ended up being used primarily against run-of-the-mill drug dealers, money launderers, tree-huggers, and vegetarians (yes, really).
......... As a sop to those privacy concerns, CISA requires companies to strip users' identifying information, but as Motherboard writes, that provision is waived if someone is even tangentially related to a "cyber threat" -- by being on a spam email list, for instance -- a loophole Amie Stepanovich, an attorney with civil liberties group Access, called "large enough to drive a semi truck through." "I can't believe this is coming out now. Congress can't pass a law to limit NSA surveillance, but they seem to be actively working to increase the amount of surveillance," Stepanovich told Motherboard.................

EBOLA SPORTS UPDATE: Winnepeg Free Press posts AP's Gerald Imray who explains how Equatorial Guinea watching out for Ebola as it welcomes African Cup soccer tournament ............ In the wake of the terrible West African Ebola outbreak, tournament organizers the Confederation of African Football were certain the Jan. 17-Feb. 8 African Cup should go ahead, confident the disease wouldn't be a threat. Now they have to make sure it won't be after dumping Morocco as host because of that country's fears over Ebola and desire to postpone the 16-team event for up to a year. CAF refused Morocco's suggestion and chose Equatorial Guinea as a short-notice replacement. It was really CAF's only choice as no one else wanted the tournament and its thousands of travellers. "When all (Equatorial) Guineans learnt that the African Nations Cup was going to be played here, everyone was afraid, we were terrified," Genoveva Abesolo Obunu, an official with Equatorial Guinea's health ministry, said. "But when we learnt about the steps the government was taking to prevent the sickness, the fear subsided." So the tournament will go on, kicking off this weekend in the oil-rich Central African nation halfway up the continent's west coast. It is Equatorial Guinea's second go at the African Cup in three years after co-hosting with Gabon in 2012. CAF and Equatorial Guinean authorities have announced this time that everyone arriving in the coming days — players, officials, fans, everyone — will undergo Ebola screening. No one is exempt, no matter where they come from. ........... What ever happened to the big ebola scare in the U.S. LameStreamMedia (LSM), huh? CLIMATE NEWS: FLOODING in MALAWI - Istanbuls's reports Malawi flooding death toll nears 200, more missing The death toll from flooding in Malawi has risen to 176 and others are still missing, Vice President Saulos Chilima said on Friday after touring the worst-hit parts of the southern African country, one of the world's poorest states. Flash floods caused by days of torrential rain have swept away roads and bridges, destroyed thousands of hectares of crops and raised fears of a cholera outbreak in the southern half of the country. The weather service is warning of more heavy rain in the next two to three weeks. "So far, the death toll stands at 176 people and we fear the number will rise because several are missing and some parts are inaccessible," Chilima said. The United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP), one of several relief agencies rolling out assistance, said 110,000 people had been displaced, an increase from a government estimate of 70,000 earlier this week. "Many more are likely to require assistance. With more rain forecast, there is concern that these numbers may rise," the WFP said. The agency is airlifting more than 100 tons of high-energy biscuits to meet the immediate needs of those affected. "Ready-to-eat food will be prioritised for the most vulnerable people, particularly children, who have been displaced from their homes and have no access to food or cooking facilities," it said. The crop damage has raised fears of a poor harvest. Last year, Malawi's farmers harvested 3.9 million tonnes of the staple crop, maize, providing a surplus of almost one million tonnes. The wet weather has also wreaked damage in neighbouring Mozambique, which has been hit by catastrophic floods in the past...... Oddly back in November reported on Malawi's water woes People living in cities are supposed to draw water from the tap. But not in Malawi's commercial hub, Blantyre, where the number of people who wake up to dry taps everyday continues to rise. The past six months have been the worst in Malawi's major cities: Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba and Mzuzu. In Blantyre, some residents have not had tap water for years because in their areas, safe, piped water is not available....... Hmmmmmm, also reports Heavy rains flood Gaza makeshift homes Dozens of makeshift housing units in the Gaza Strip were flooded on Friday due to heavy rains amid a cold snap which erupted this week across the Middle East region. Rainfalls had poured into makeshift tin huts sheltering dozens of Palestinian families in the southern Khuzaa town after they had been made homeless following a devastating Israeli offensive on the blockaded coastal enclave last summer, Shehda Abu Rouk, the town's local chief, told The Anadolu Agency. Abu Rouk called on the UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA to open up its schools in Khuzaa to temporarily shelter the once again homeless families. Moreover, an entire neighborhood in the southern Rafah city has also been flooded, according to local civil defense authorities. Using fishing boats, civil defense forces managed to rescue the residents of Jumeizat Al-Sabil neighborhood, whose streets and farmland had been damaged by the flood, Said al-Seoudi, the director of Gaza's civil defense authority, told AA. Dozens of Palestinian families have already left their homes in several parts of the Gaza Strip in fear of flooding amid an ongoing cold snap. ................ MORE CLIMATE NEWS: Darh Jamail at The Methane Monster Roars The disparity of the beauty before me with my troubled thoughts about the planet has found no reconciliation. I had been collecting data and conducting interviews for articles about methane releases in the Arctic for weeks, and pondering the information through the holidays only led me into depression. Going out into the mountains helped, but also provoked grave concerns for our collective future. To consider the possibility that humans have altered the atmosphere of the earth so drastically as to put our own lives in danger seems, at least emotionally, unfathomable. Given the scale of the planet, one would think, logically, it might not even be possible. Yet the majestic snow-covered peaks near where I live may no longer have glaciers (or even snow) within my lifetime, according to some of the scientists I've interviewed. ............ Vast amounts of methane lie frozen in the Arctic. It's not news that the Arctic sea ice is melting rapidly, and that it will likely be gone for short periods during the summers starting as early as next year. Losing that ice means releasing larger amounts of previously trapped methane into the atmosphere. Additionally, lying along the Arctic's subsea continental margins and beneath Arctic permafrost are methane hydrates, often described as methane gas surrounded by ice. In March 2010, a report in Science indicated that these cumulatively contain the equivalent of 1,000 to 10,000 gigatons of carbon. For perspective, humans have released approximately 1,475 gigatons in total carbon dioxide since the year 1850. Paul Beckwith, [a climatology and meteorology professor at the University of Ottawa, Canada] warns that losing the Arctic sea ice will create a state that "will represent a very different planet, with a much higher global average temperature, in which snow and ice in the northern hemisphere becomes very rare or even vanishes year round." In the simplest terms, here's what an ice-free Arctic would mean when it comes to heating the planet: Minus the reflective ice cover on Arctic waters, solar radiation would be absorbed, not reflected, by the Arctic Ocean. That would heat those waters, and hence the planet, further. This effect has the potential to change global weather patterns, vary the flow of winds and even someday possibly alter the position of the jet stream. Polar jet streams are fast-flowing rivers of wind positioned high in the earth's atmosphere that push cold and warm air masses around, playing a critical role in determining the weather of our planet. "What happens in the Arctic does not stay in the Arctic," Beckwith explained. "The rapidly warming Arctic relative to the rest of the planet (five to eight times global average temperature rise) is decreasing the temperature gradient between the Arctic and the equator." This decreased gradient is disrupting the jet stream, leading to further warming in the Arctic, forming a runaway feedback loop, which in turn is causing the release of more methane in the Arctic. And on land, it's already happening as well. ................. To gain a better understanding of the implications of Arctic warming, I interviewed some of the scientists conducting the most cutting edge and current methane studies in the Arctic. Dr. Leonid Yurganov is a senior research scientist at the University of Maryland Physics Department and the Joint Center for Earth Systems Technology........ While Yurganov isn't seeing "fast and immediate liberation of methane from hydrates" at this very moment, he warned of what would happen if and when it does occur. "Increased methane would influence air temperature near the surface," he said. "This would accelerate the Arctic warming and change the climate everywhere in the world." Yurganov does not foresee an immediate global collapse within a decade. In his view, the summer Arctic sea ice will continue to shrink in a more linear fashion, but the frequency of extreme weather events and rising sea levels will continue to accelerate. "People should accommodate to climate change and be prepared to a decline in life-level caused by it," he warned. .......... DAHR JAMAIL has been covering this for waytoo long so see all his articles at HERE! WAY TOO MUCH to snip much more so read ALL OF THIS! THEN Thom Hartmann's Daily Take Team explains Why Carbon Should Be Left in the Ground ........... A new study published in the journal Nature argues that most of the remaining fossil fuel reserves on our planet will need to be left in the ground if we want to have any chance at preventing catastrophic climate change. The scientists behind the research argue that most Canadian tar sands oil, all Arctic oil and gas, and most shale gas has to stay buried underground if we want to avoid the 2 degrees Celsius warming benchmark. Christophe McGlade, the lead researcher on the study, told The Guardian that, "We've now got tangible figures of the quantities and locations of fossil fuels that should remain unused in trying to keep within the 2C temperature limit." ................ Basically, if we want to have any chance at saving our planet from the greatest threat it's ever faced, we have to leave fossil fuels and the carbon that comes with them in the ground. It's that simple. Unfortunately, countries and companies are still spending billions on oil and gas exploration. A report by Oil Change International and the Overseas Development Institute found that collectively, the G20 nations and companies within them, which includes the United States, are spending a staggering $88 billion per year on fossil fuel exploration subsides to Big Oil. ............... It's time for the United States – and the rest of the world – to stop investing in oil and gas exploration, and start investing in clean and green sources of energy. Only then can we keep carbon in the ground and give our planet a fighting chance. WOW! If you STILL THINK humans and the Industrial Revolution DID NOT CAUSE our current global climate situation becuz you've been greenwashed THINK AGAIN! Oliver Milman at MoJo tells us how We're Destroying the Planet in Ways That Are Even Worse Than Global Warming: 4 ways humans are endangering life on Earth This story originally appeared in the Guardian and is republished here as part of the Climate Desk collaboration. Humans are "eating away at our own life support systems" at a rate unseen in the past 10,000 years by degrading land and freshwater systems, emitting greenhouse gases and releasing vast amounts of agricultural chemicals into the environment, new research has found. Two major new studies by an international team of researchers have pinpointed the key factors that ensure a livable planet for humans, with stark results. Of nine worldwide processes that underpin life on Earth, four have exceeded "safe" levels: human-driven climate change, loss of biosphere integrity, land system change, and the high level of phosphorus and nitrogen flowing into the oceans due to fertilizer use. Researchers spent five years identifying these core components of a planet suitable for human life, using the long-term average state of each measure to provide a baseline for the analysis. They found that the changes of the last 60 years are unprecedented in the previous 10,000 years, a period in which the world has had a relatively stable climate and human civilization has advanced significantly. ............... Since 1950, urban populations have increased sevenfold, primary energy use has soared by a factor of five, while the amount of fertilizer used is now eight times higher. The amount of nitrogen entering the oceans has quadrupled. All of these changes are shifting Earth into a "new state" that is becoming less hospitable to human life, researchers said. "These indicators have shot up since 1950 and there are no signs they are slowing down," said Will Steffen of the Australian National University and the Stockholm Resilience Center. Steffen is the lead author on both of the studies. "When economic systems went into overdrive, there was a massive increase in resource use and pollution," Steffen said. "It used to be confined to local and regional areas but we're now seeing this occurring on a global scale. These changes are down to human activity, not natural variability." Steffen said direct human influence upon the land was contributing to a loss in pollination and a disruption in the provision of nutrients and fresh water. "We are clearing land, we are degrading land, we introduce feral animals and take the top predators out, we change the marine ecosystem by overfishing—it's a death by a thousand cuts," he said. "That direct impact upon the land is the most important factor right now, even more than climate change." ................... The two studies, published in Science and Anthropocene Review, featured the work of scientists from countries including the United States, Sweden, Germany, and India. The findings will be presented in seven seminars at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which takes place from January 21 to 25. DAVOS? SWITZERLAND? The Swiss Central Bank Just Made Davos a Lot Pricier ......... The franc jumped at least 14 percent today after the Swiss central bank decided now was the time to stop capping its value. With all this fact-based science reporting about human-caused global warming and all its devastating effects one aspect of this is the moving growing season and shifting global climes for growing food. WE GO BACK to for the Brick TeeVee LAST WORD and Jonathan Latham, Independent Science News | News Analysis How the Great Food War Will Be Won .................... The real food crisis is of overproduction Yet this strategy has a disastrous foundational weakness. There is no global or regional shortage of food. There never has been and nor is there ever likely to be. India has a superabundance of food. South America is swamped in food. The US, Australia, New Zealand and Europe are swamped in food (e.g. Billen et al 2011). In Britain, like in many wealthy countries, nearly half of all row crop food production now goes to biofuels, which at bottom are an attempt to dispose of surplus agricultural products. China isn't quite swamped but it still exports food (see Fig 1.); and it grows 30% of the world's cotton. No foodpocalypse there either. Of all the populous nations, Bangladesh comes closest to not being swamped in food. Its situation is complex. Its government says it is self-sufficient. The UN world Food Program says it is not, but the truth appears to be that Bangladeshi farmers do not produce the rice they could because prices are too low, because of persistent gluts (1). Even some establishment institutions will occasionally admit that the food shortage concept – now and in any reasonably conceivable future – is bankrupt. According to experts consulted by the World Bank Institute there is already sufficient food production for 14 billion people – more food than will ever be needed. The Golden Fact of agribusiness is a lie. Truth restoration: So, if the agribusiness PR experts are correct that food crisis fears are pivotal to their industry, then it follows that those who oppose the industrialization of food and agriculture should make dismantling that lie their top priority. Anyone who wants a sustainable, pesticide-free, or non-GMO food future, or who wants to swim in a healthy river or lake again, or wants to avoid climate chaos, needs to know all this. Anyone who would like to rebuild the rural economy or who appreciates cultural, biological, or agricultural diversity of any meaningful kind should take every possible opportunity to point out the evidence that refutes it. .................... The 1st Amendment is Our Permit Our permit to occupy is The First Amendment. Quickly sign the following statement which will be delivered to mayors, police chiefs and major media across the country:

Our permit to occupy public squares and parks is in The First Amendment, which affirms "the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." When people across the Middle East occupied public squares, leaders in Washington mostly cheered those protesters and warned Middle Eastern governments not to use force to clear them. Those other societies don’t have a First Amendment. Yet Washington affirmed the universal right to assembly and protest. We do have a First Amendment. The force being used to clear nonviolent protesters from public squares in our country is unacceptable. It must stop. &! NET NEUTRALITY! Declaration of Internet Freedom Tired of fighting bad bills like SOPA, PIPA and CISPA? Want to stand up against those who are trying to control what we do and say online? It's time for something different. A group of more than 1,500 organizations, academics, startup founders and tech innovators has come together to produce a Declaration of Internet Freedom, a set of five principles that put forward a positive vision of the open Internet. Our goal: Get millions of Internet users to sign on to this Declaration. Build political power for Internet users to make sure that we get a seat at the table whenever, and wherever, the future of the Internet is being decided. It's time to stop playing defense and start going on the offensive. The open Internet is central to people’s freedom to communicate, share, advocate and innovate in the 21st century. But powerful interests want to censor free speech, block the sharing of information, hinder innovation and control how Internet users get online. And all too often, people in power are making political decisions behind closed doors about how the Internet should operate — and they're doing this without the involvement of actual Internet users. The result: policies that could close down the open Internet and destroy our freedom to connect. It’s time for us to reclaim the Internet for its users. Take action now and sign the Declaration of Internet Freedom. ACTION! If Congress enacts Title X, we'll lose net neutrality forever. Comcast’s well-paid friends in Congress are looking to enact a "Title X" provision that would give the Cable industry the power to ruin the open Internet and force Internet users to pay more for less. Congress leaders are planning on starting 2015 with a bill called “Title X" that would compromise the World Wide Web by taking away the FCC’s ability to protect the open Internet and giving cable companies the power to charge for less access. This bill would be a huge betrayal to the millions of Internet users that demanded that Congress support real net neutrality. SIGN THE PETITION to Congress: "We want to keep the Internet open and free. Don't let cable companies take away our ability to create and express ourselves on the world wide web. Worse, Genachowski and Murdoch are keeping this all very hush-hush, hoping you won't notice. These changes wouldn’t just benefit Murdoch. If the FCC proposal passes, one company could own the major daily newspaper, two TV stations and up to eight radio stations in your town. And that one company could be your Internet provider, too. What is the FCC thinking?!? We can still stop the agency from taking this perilous step — but we have less than a month to do it. By taking action, you’re joining a movement of millions who are working to stop big media from getting even bigger. Please take action today. CAMPAIGN FOR AMERICA'S FUTURE American Majority Rejects Washington Austerity Consensus – And We Demand Media Coverage by Roger Hickey, President, Campaign for America's Future: No more silent majority. The Campaign for America’s Future is joining with the Center for Economic and Policy Research (whose Co-Director, Dean Baker blogs regularly about economic bias in the media) and with FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting) to monitor the media’s coverage and representation of the American Majority views as they go into covering the big deficit fight. But we want to enlist YOU too. Send us accounts of unbalanced coverage in the national media and in your local newspapers and television. Call up reporters, editors, assignment people and tell them when they are under-representing the views of the American Majority. We should have at least half the experts, pundits, quotes and real people represented in their coverage. In a debate as important as the one we are going into, we can’t allow the media to ignore the American Majority. Much more at

REPRESENT.US IT’S TIME TO GET MONEY OUT OF POLITICS SO THE GOVERNMENT CAN REPRESENT US. Represent.Us is a fresh campaign to pass the American Anti-Corruption Act: a law that would overhaul campaign finance, impose strict lobbying and conflict of interest laws, and end secret political money. We are mobilizing millions of Americans — conservatives and progressives, young and old, every issue group fighting K Street, online and offline — to join this campaign. Represent.Us is not just building a movement to pass the Act. The campaign will use hard-hitting accountability tactics to unseat politicians who fail to endorse the Act. If passed, the Act will completely reshape American politics and policy-making and give people a voice. Manufactured Terrorism – U.S. Officials Claim Credit for Stopping Another Terror Attack Created by the FBI by Michael Krieger — The “war on terror” is the best thing to happen to power hungry politicians since a fire of questionable origin destroyed the Reichstag building in Berlin on February 27, 1933. Not only does the “war on terror” represent big business for shady crony capitalists, it gives politicians, i.e., professional authoritarians, an excuse to destroy civil liberties and implement a total surveillance system to ensure the plebs don’t get out of line. This is not just an unfortunate trend that has developed organically due to a dangerous world, these are the goals of the oligarch class and they will do whatever it takes to achieve them. This is where the “war on terror” and constant fear-mongering comes into play. There’s only one small problem. In the absence of real terror attacks in the U.S., it’s difficult to keep the stupid serfs shivering in a corner in the fetal position. Enter fake terrorist attacks;funded, created and planned by the FBI. Read the rest here......... (
